Event ID 492: The logfile sequence in "<directory name>" has been halted due to a fatal error
My company is running Exchange 2007 SP1/Windows 2008 server. I have an Active/Active/Passive cluster set up using SCC. EVS names are SCC1 and SCC2. Each has an SCR target in another AD site. I've looked at my Event Logs this evening, and am seeing the errors for SCC1. <process name> (<process id>) <storage group name>The logfile sequence in "<directory name>" has been halted due to a fatal error. No further updates are possible for the databases that use this logfile sequence There is an MS link here that explains it: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/support/ee/transform.aspx?ProdName=Exchange&ProdVer=6.5.6940.0&EvtID=492&EvtSrc=ESE&LCID=1033 From what I can see, everything looks ok though. I have: - Checked all stores are up on SCC1 - Checked cluster resources on SCC1 - Run the Test-MAPI Connectivity cmdlet again SCC1. I'm thinking this is a false alert, but are there any other checks I need to run to make sure that everything is fine with this Mailbox server? In particular, I'm thinking of information being written to the store database. Any help would be greatly appreciated ASAP.
